Let's get started on recording a thank you message! Our donors are interested in learning more about who they are supporting with their scholarship. Share a little bit about yourself and your experience as a KU student. A video also serves as a great way for your donor to put a face to a name and it is a personalized way for you to share your gratitude.

Select Record Video to record your message from your computer, phone, or tablet. You can record your video as many times as you would like before you submit. If your video is saved elsewhere, you can also upload a video by selecting Upload a Video.

Recording Tips:
  • Aim to get your message across in about 1-2 minutes.
  • Speak slowly, clearly, and at a good volume.
  • Make sure your lighting and background is appropriate.
  • Wear KU gear, if possible.
  • Smile and be yourself! 😊
  1. Select ‘Record Video’ to begin the process
  2. Enable your webcam.
  3. Click ‘Start Recording’ and wait for the 3 second countdown.
  4. When you are finished recording, click ‘Stop Recording.’
  5. Wait for your video to upload to our servers.
  6. Click the play button to review your video. If you are not satisfied with your recording, you can click ‘Rerecord’ and try again. If you are satisfied with your recording, click ‘Submit Video’.
  7. Accept our terms and conditions to complete submission.

  2. Click ‘Record Video’ or ‘Upload Video’. Please wait for your video to upload to our servers.
  3. Click the play button to review your video. You can rerecord or upload another video if you are not satisfied with your recording.
  4. If you are satisfied with your recording, click ‘Submit Video’ and ‘Continue’ to accept our terms and conditions and submit your video.
